Mr. Mank is a global business executive and a three-time former Canadian ambassador who brings over thirty years of experience in both the public and private sectors. In business, he has been Vice President Asia-Pacific for BlackBerry and President Asia-Pacific for SICPA of Switzerland. In government, he served as Canada’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Pakistan and Malaysia.

Currently, Mr. Mank is President of MankGlobal Inc, supporting clients with business development, government relations, and representation services while writing and speaking on global affairs. He serves on several boards and is also a Fellow of both the Canadian Global Affairs Institute and the Balsillie School of International Affairs. He contributes articles to Troy Media and other fora and co-authored the book Emergency! Quarantine, Evacuation, and Back Again, published in the spring of 2022.

Born in Kitchener, Ontario, former Ambassador Mank obtained B.A. and M.A. degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo and conducted doctoral research at The London School of Economics. He speaks English, French, Japanese and Indonesian.
