Daniel Poulin has been appointed as Professor Emeritus at the Université de Montréal

During its meeting on April 28 2014, the Council of the Université de Montréal has approved the appointment of Daniel Poulin, President and founder of Lexum, as Professor Emeritus of the University. The Université de Montréal wishes to acknowledge the outstanding contribution of Daniel Poulin in the research, education, development and outreach of the University.

Daniel Poulin was a professor at the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal from 1993 to January 2014. During these years, he initiated the free access to law in Canada, he designed and directed the development of CanLII and has been at the forefront of the development of a neutral citation for Canadian caselaw.
