Lexbox enables you to set up alerts feeds and personalise them to cater to your different area of interest.  It’s great to track relevant content over time and to follow up on the latest updates.

Here are some examples to get you started:

Tracking the impact of a case over time (citation alert)

  • Search what you are looking for using the standard search features
  • Click on a relevant case
  • Click on “Set up citation alert” in the Lexbox bar

  • Customize the title of your alert (optional)
  • Chose the folder where you want to store the alert
  • Chose the notification method (within your Lexbox folder, daily email, weekly email)

Following new developments in a specific field of law (query alert)

  • Search what you are looking for using the standard search features. Refine your search to optimise results. Ex: “Wrongful dismissal” + Jurisdiction: CA, ON + Courts and tribunals: Labour
  • Click on “Set up alert feed” in the Lexbox bar

  • Customize the title of your alert (optional)
  • Chose the folder where you want to store the alert
  • Chose the notification method (within your Lexbox folder, daily email, weekly email)

Monitoring a statute for changes (amendment alert)

  • Search what you are looking for using the standard search features
