The Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI) of Quebec selected Decisia to enhance the publishing of decisions on its website.
The Commission reviews decisions of public organizations in response to requests from individuals who have been denied access to an administrative document or to their personal information. Except in certain situations, these judgments are public information and are made available through the CAI “Décisions et avis” page. The CAI also conducts investigations to determine whether a practice or behaviour of a public company complies with the law.
Decisia will enable the CAI to provide online users with enhanced full text searching and customized fields search of decisions on its website. In addition, both types of decisions produced by the organization (section juridictionnelle and section surveillance) will be made available in HTML format and searchable together via the same user-friendly interface.
