Arkansas becomes the first U.S. State to adopt Decisia for the publishing of opinions rendered by its courts. In total this is up to 75,000 official and unofficial opinions that will be made available on the Arkansas Judiciary website using Decisia, including Court of Appeal Opinions rendered since 1981 and Supreme Court opinion rendered since 1837.
The new repository of opinions will be deployed over the summer and will replace the current search engine used by the Arkansas Judiciary. Decisia has been selected for its intuitive search interface that both eases and speeds advanced legal research of judicial databases. Decisia will drastically improve the usability of the opinions repository by providing a uniform user interface designed specifically for legal research.
