The Commission de la Construction du Québec Modernizes its Internal Case Law Database with Decisia

Lexum is proud to announce the deployment of a large specialized case law database on behalf of the Commission de la Construction du Québec (CCQ). This database, specifically designed to serve the needs of the legal department of the CCQ, brings together thousands of Québec decisions from its fields of expertise, as well as various related documents produced by the institution over time. By combining all of its internal legal documentation in Decisia, the CCQ now benefits from:

  • A powerful integrated search solution enabling legal staff to identify documents relevant to a case from a single point of access;
  • A flexible database capable of adapting to the available metadata sets for each type of document;
  • An Auto-fill feature greatly accelerating the addition of new documents, thus facilitating the updating of the database;
  • Intuitive interfaces based on technologies already mastered by the legal staff as they are shared with the most popular legal information websites in Canada.

The CCQ is the Quebec organization responsible for the application of the Act respecting labor relations, vocational training and manpower management in the construction industry (Bill R-20). It offers a wide range of services to its clients, including benefits, retirement and insurance, vocational training and workforce management. It is also responsible for the application of collective agreements in the construction industry.
