Norma’s Terms of Use
All questions, comments and requests concerning the present document should be emailed to Lexum using the Lexum website feedback form.
1. Every person who uses Norma consents, as a User, to the terms of use stated in the present document and to the fact that Lexum reserves the right to amend these terms from time to time.
2. Lexum, reserve the intellectual property rights pertaining to Norma technology, website’s graphic, navigation and search tool design.
3. Users retain the intellectual property rights pertaining to the material they publish with Norma. Lexum’s use of the material shallNorma be limited to provision of the Norma services.
4. The following uses of Norma are prohibited unless Lexum has provided prior written consent:
- Incorporating published documents into another website but masking their origin or source through framing, re-use of search processes, or any other means of creating confusion and misrepresenting the fact that the documents are published with Norma;
- External indexing of published documents by Web robots when such use is not authorized by the instructions in the robots exclusion file at http://www.lexum.com/robots.txt or in a META tag in the HTML code of a published document, in compliance with the Robots Exclusion Protocol;
- Use of Norma resources and services via automated mechanisms, in particular for bulk downloading of documents.
5. Lexum reserves the right to block, at its discretion and without prior notice, any User from accessing Norma if the User misuses the service or uses it for illegal purposes.
6. Lexum puts considerable effort into maintaining Norma and controlling its quality so as to provide a reliable service. However, Lexum provide no warranty and make no claims as to the reliability, accuracy or integrity of Norma content or functioning. In particular Lexum does not guarantee the permanent availability of documents published with Norma and Users should make sure to backup their material.
7. The Norma services are offered for Users’ convenience. Despite the care taken in preparing and maintaining Norma, Lexum and its employees, managers and other officers can in no way be held responsible for damages caused directly or indirectly by use of Norma or by its non-availability.
8. Use of Norma is governed by the federal and provincial legislation in force in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any legal action against Lexum with regards to Norma use shall be brought before the courts of the District of Montreal in the Province of Quebec.
