We are excited to announce the addition of two more heavyweights of legal tech and legal publishing to Lexum’s Board of Directors.
Joshua Lenon is Lawyer in Residence & Data Protection Officer at Clio, an intuitive cloud-based legal practice management solution . Joshua has been part of the senior leadership team at Clio since the early days. He serves not just as a lawyer, but also a conduit into the needs of law firms and other legal professionals. He has been a guest lecturer at MIT’s Media Lab, ReinventLaw London, Northwestern University School of Law, the International Legal Technology Association, and dozens of other legal associations meetings across North America. An attorney admitted to the New York Bar, Joshua brings legal scholarship to the conversations happening both within Clio and with its customers.
Ed Walters is the CEO of Fastcase, an innovative legal publisher which pioneered citation analysis, data visualization, mobile apps, and eBooks for legal research . Fastcase is highly respected and serves hundreds of thousands of lawyers in the US. Ed founded, built and has been leading Fastcase since 1999. He is also adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and Cornell Law School, teaching The Law of Robots, exploring the frontiers of law governing intelligent agents, autonomous machines, drones and robots. Ed serves on the boards of Pro Bono Net, Friends of Telecom Sans Frontiers, and PublicResource.org. He also serves on the Leadership Council of Legal Services Corporation. Fastcase and Ed have a vested interest in free access to law.
