Decisia 7.4 now incorporates features that not only enhance performance but also deliver a transformative AI-based service.
SERVICE UPTIME
To ensure that both our services and your website are performing well, Decisia is developing its statistical analyses. Decisia 7.4 adds a new link to the Statistics tab of your administrative interface. This takes you to a page generated by Pingdom that checks the availability, performance and accessibility of your Decisia site in real-time, as well as the associated histories. You’ll also find various indicators and statistics. You can, therefore, check the availability of your site according to different criteria: daily, weekly, monthly, annually or according to a selected period.

TIME ZONE
The second change concerns the time displayed in the administrative interface. Previously, Decisia systematically used Eastern Standard Time to log all changes made, no matter where you were. With Decisia 7.4, your browser’s time zone is now used to display the time of any changes made.
From now on, whether you are uploading a document, or receiving maintenance or other information, the time taken into account will be the time where you are.

NEW FEATURE: IA-POWERED SUMMARIES
Finally, we are pleased to introduce the most important new feature in Decisia 7.4: AI-generated summaries. Tested for around 18 months on CanLII, our automatic summaries have had the opportunity to prove their effectiveness as well as their confidence index. Deployed for hundreds of thousands of decisions, they enable information to be sorted and organized to make the documents processed more comprehensible to the public.
This new feature is now available in Decisia 7.4 via a new activation function. When activated for your account, the ‘Generate summary by IA’ button on the Add/Modify form creates the summary in a metadata field. The editor thus retains complete control over the content and can validate or edit it before it is published on your site. It is also possible to customize the enrichments to meet your specific needs.

Decisia’s integration of AI-powered summaries produces concise, organized content for judicial and administrative decisions, covering facts, procedural history, party submissions, legal issues, disposition and reasons. Tailor-made summaries to meet your specific needs can also be considered.
For users of your services, this provides a short, understandable summary of your lengthy legal documents. They can quickly check the quality of statements by following links to the relevant paragraphs in the original document.
