Lexum is thrilled to announce that the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) has chosen Qweri to enhance their online services.
The ETFO has been advocating for teachers and education professionals since 1998 and is considered Canada’s largest education union. With over 81,000 members, the ETFO provides publications to its members through position papers and briefs to government, as well as research and information issues in Voice magazine and their eNewsletter.
The addition of over 60 collective bargaining agreements (CBA) via Qweri will soon allow the ETFO to provide comprehensive access to these important resources to its wide-range of members and staff.
The EFTO selected Qweri in large part for its searching capabilities, including full text search in the body of the CBA, search snippets (abstracts with keywords into context), search keywords highlighted in colour, as well as the ability to annotate the CBA. These features will make it easier for EFTO members and personnel to identify relevant sections of CBA and to interact with them.
