On September 13th and 14th CanLII organizes a hackathon and a conference on the theme of law, government and open data at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law Centre for Law, Technology and Society (CLTS). Ivan Mokanov, executive director of Lexum, is a guest speaker and will discuss the importance of opening legal and judicial data directly from the source. The event will also provide an opportunity to develop some technological solutions sharing the same objective and with the potential to be developed into functional software or applications.
