Originally from Switzerland, Sandrine arrived in Quebec in 2001 for a planned five-month stay to complete her master’s thesis. That visit turned into a stay of several years at Polytechnique Montréal, where she taught various courses while pursuing her doctoral studies. She completed her thesis in 2009.
Sandrine then began her career in the private sector at Acquisio, a B2B platform for the centralized management of pay-per-click advertising campaigns. She spent nearly eight years there, from 2009 to 2017, taking on roles of increasing responsibility.
She continued her career at Timesphere, a company specializing in advanced scheduling software, which was later acquired by Sigma-RH. Between 2017 and 2025, Sandrine held several leadership roles there and actively contributed to the development of its products and technology teams. Throughout her various assignments, she led the development and implementation of technological solutions, established a team dedicated to artificial intelligence, and helped design advanced algorithms intended, in particular, to optimize delivery routes and staff schedules. She also directly or indirectly supervises up to 50 employees (directors, product managers, developers, quality analysts, and DevOps specialists) spread across several teams and product lines.
Before joining Lexum, Sandrine served as Vice President of Product and Technology at Secai. There, she led the effort to bring technological expertise in-house and built a team of specialists in artificial intelligence, software development, infrastructure, and security.
In addition to her job responsibilities, Sandrine is pursuing a part-time MBA in digital business management at Laval University.
With more than twenty years of expertise combining optimization, artificial intelligence, and technological leadership, Sandrine is now putting that experience to work at Lexum.
