In order to promote access to courts martial results and decisions, the Department of National Defence integrated Decisia to the Chief Military Judges (CMJ) website. The new decision website not only provides information about rendered decisions, but also includes details about ongoing courts martial. A summary is provided for each court martial, including information about dates, location, charges and results when they become available. Thanks to Decisia, courts martial decisions can now be searched according to various criteria, including searches by parties, judge or decision type. Related cases are also linked together thanks to a “see also” feature.
From now on those interested in receiving regular updates about ongoing courts martial can subscribe to the CMJ’s decisions mailing list, or RSS feed.
