Lexum is looking for an HR and Administrative Technician

Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Administration, Finance and Human Resources, the successful candidate will respond to and interact primarily with Lexum employees, as well as the company’s customers and suppliers. Thanks to their training and skills, they will be versatile enough to provide adequate support to the organization. Their ability to communicate effectively by telephone and e-mail will enable her to act as a link both externally and with the various departments.

Responsibilities and Duties

In collaboration with the administration, finance and human resources team, the administrative support role will cover the following tasks, among others:

  • Participating in the recruitment process.
  • Contributing to the drafting of various human resources policies.
  • Contributing to the implementation of a computerized personnel file system.
  • Responding to various requests by e-mail, videoconference or telephone.
  • Ensuring requests are documented, tracked and resolved quickly using Lexum’s work management tools.
  • Coordinate the approval of various invoices by acting as a link between accounting, the different departments and external stakeholders.
  • In collaboration with accounting, customer service and business development, monitor accounts receivable and internal management tools.
  • Reviewing and completing employee expense accounts in anticipation of payments by accounting.
  • Carry out various tasks related to office space management, including purchasing supplies and maintenance.

Requirements

You must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • College education in office automation or management accounting or related fields;
  • Work experience in administration or as an accounting technician;
  • Working internally in French, excellent command of written and spoken English for external communications;
  • Very strong aptitude with office software and internal management software, such as a company intranet, CRM, as well as productivity platforms and tools;
  • Curious, autonomous and flexible temperament;
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively;
  • Ability to carry out work rigorously and meticulously in a low-supervision environment;
  • Interest in and ability to learn new tools, software and technologies; and
  • Excellent team spirit.
